The Ra’anana Community Kollel was born from Rabbi Dovid Horwitz’s vision and dream of building a Torah community in Eretz Yisroel. In 1998, Rabbi Horwitz and his wife Elana moved to Ra’anana and began turning that dream into a reality.
RCK began with a core group of ten young families, made possible through the generosity of Reb Yisroel Horwitz (כ״א אדר תר״צ - ו׳ כסלו תשפ״א), beloved father of Rabbi Dovid Horwitz. His legacy of commitment to Torah and tzedaka continues to impact us today. ת.נ.צ.ב.ה
Year after year, RCK's shiurim, minyanim, and learning programs multiplied — growing from a small beginning into a bustling center of Torah learning in Ra'anana.
Under Ben Goldstein's management, RCK brought on new, talented, dedicated Anglo avreichim and rabbonim — many making aliyah with their families from America — taking RCK to new heights.
Twenty-eight years in, RCK is still growing, adding shiurim, welcoming new families, and finding new ways to teach, learn, and connect. Today, hundreds of families, 100+ shiurim a week, thousands of lives touched. B'ezras Hashem, there's so much more ahead.
